Her current drama projects include ​Y​OGINI​,​ a feature film that promises to explore the depths of grief and the resiliency necessary to heal; ​A​ NOTE IN TIME, an ambitious multi-episode series that weaves together past lives, karmic connections, and social progress, spanning from the suffragette movement of the late 1800s to the present day; and ​A COMPOSER'S REQUIEM, which weaves Greek mythology into the present as a musician battles​ personal insecurities and mystical forces to complete her magnum opus, revealing timeless​ truths about creativity and self-discovery. Demonstrating her versatility, Maria is also developing​ C​OMBAT NUN, a comedy that follows a nun who enters the Marines and finds herself unwittingly​ in a combat zone, blending humor with themes of faith, duty, and personal growth.
